The geothermal heat pump industry has grown as the supporting infrastructure has developed and strengthened. There are a number of information resources available, including:

International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA)
National Ground Water Association
Geo-Heat Center Oregon Institute of Technology Other supporters include the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (NRECA), and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Training IGSHPA conducts several programs annually, plus Geothermal Heating and Cooling Regional Centers have been established to conduct training programs. These include:
